Saturday 3rd December saw 41 Squadron join with the Porirua Cadet Corps and Sea Cadets for a first ever Tri-Corps Final Parade. Here a number of local and national dignatories, inlcuding Captain David Gibb (Royal New Zealand Navy), representatives of the national support associations, representatives from the RSA and others gathered at Ngatitos Domain to watch the units parade before being inspected.
After inspection a number of promotions and national medals were awarded before the parade fell out to re-group inside Ngatitoa Hall for the local unit level promotions and the awarding of the different units awards, that ranged from recognising successful training completion to top shots and up to the cadet of the year.
Once all the awards, certificates, trophies and badges had been dispersed, and the assembly had been addressed by some of the dignatories in attendence a number of unit photos were arranged while anyone not in the photos or holding a camera tucked in to the refreshments available.
