Another great day was had by both the cadets who manned the squadron flight simulators and the attendees who took the opportunity to have a virtual flight with us at the recent Plimmerton School Gala.
Over the day there was a constant stream of potential pilots visiting us in classroom 16 and with the wonderfully sunny weather the gala was well attended – thanks go to Plimmerton School for inviting the squadron back to their gala and Porirua RSA for loaning the RSA/cadet van for the day to help promote our prescence.
Congratulations go to Riley Flett from class VH at Discovery School who was the lucky winner from our ‘win a RC helicopter’ competition – pictured below is Riley with his prize!
