On Sunday 11th of November a contigent of cadets made up the guard party at the ceremonial memorial unveiling of a statue that pays tribute to the armed forces at Whenua Tapu cemetry.
Unfortunately the weather was cold and wet, but it didn’t stop a large turn out from making the ceremony to mark Armistice Day.
The Squadron received thanks and praise from the Porirua RSA, Air Commodore Yardley and other distinquished guests.
