A big congratulation to Warrant Officer Alex Asbery and Corporal Nicholas Asbery for successfully completeing the 2 week National Navigation Course at RNZAF Base Woodbourne on the South Island.
As part of the course, our duo passed the Navigation test which forms 1 of 6 exams that must be completed to obtain a Private Pilot’s License – well done!
While on base they took advantage of all the facilities on offer, including the flight simulators, swimming pool and gym, plus they also saw (and had a good look round!) one of the new A109 helicopters currently being tested by the RNZAF.
