On Wednesday 14th December Squadron Leader Grant Te Tau recieved a Mayoral Certificate from Porirua Mayor Nick Leggett in recognition of his many years of service to the youth of Porirua through his work with the Air Training Corps.
Unfortunately Grant leaves 41 Squadron at the end of 2011 to take up a new post at TS Tutira, the Levin Sea Cadet unit, which means Grant will be able to live, work and play nearer to home in Levin.
A good turnout from 41 Squadron were able to see Grant recieve his presentation from the Mayor and we look forward to working with Grant at his new unit in the future.
