Cadet Sean Eagles reports on his flight at Kapiti Districts Aero Club on the 22nd Feb.
Even though I have had a few flights already I still had a nervous feeling. But when I got in the air it was really cool. I flew past the Waikanae River mouth and did revision on turning, ascending and descending. It was an absolute blast and definitely one for the thrill seekers – especially when coming in to land because there was lots of turbulence. It became a roller coaster at times but it was really fun. My instructor landed the plane because I wouldn’t have a hope of landing it in the turbulence.
My instructor commented on my flying in that it was really good. It made me feel great and happy to be flying. I thank them for the opportunity.
