On 28 May 2012 F/S Kendall Brown & F/S Jess Toohey attended the Memorial Day church service at Old St Paul’s Cathedral in Wellington.
This service is held every year to celebrate Memorial Day for the United States.
F/S Toohey was involved in handing out programmes to guests.
F/S Brown was a wreath bearer and handed a wreath to the Mayor of Kapiti – Jenny Rowan.
F/S Brown was lucky enough to get a chance to talk to the Chief of the Air Force after the service and get a photo with a couple of US Marines.
