I am the Cadet Unit Commander of No. 41 (City of Porirua) Squadron Air Training Corps. I joined the unit in 1993 and was commissioned as an Officer in 2001. During my ATC Career I have attended cadet promotional courses, staffed courses, and completed the Officer Outdoor Leaders Course, Instructional Technique Course, Command Course and the Range Safety Officer Course. I am a Chartered Accountant and employed as an Business Advisory Services Associate at BDO. I also hold a BCA in Accounting and Commercial Law, a BSc in Computer Science and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting.

RNZAFA Wellington Branch Flying Scholarship

Congratulations to LAC Aiden Drummond who was awarded the 2013 RNZAF Association Wellington Branch Flying Scholarship of $1,000. This will be put towards his power flying training. Commonwealth Day 2013

On 11 March 2013 Acting Sergeant Logan Cane, Corporal Eagle, Corporal Haenga-Sutton and Leading Air Cadet Gordon assisted the Department of Internal Affairs at the Commonwealth Day ceremony by providing the Guard for the Commonwealth Flag. Afterwards they, and Pilot Officer Brown attended the Official Reception at Parliment.
