Today the shooting results were released for the National Shooting Competition, the Wallingford Shooting Competition.
Team A of No. 41 Squadron finished third nationally and I am pleased to confirm the awarding of Marksman badges to LAC Ngaro T. (86) and CPL Ogilvie (80).
Team B was 11th Nationally (6th in Central Area) and Team C was 10th Nationally (5th in Central Area).
No. 41 Squadron Team A has been awarded the K & P.L. Bolton Rifle Shooting Trophy (Central) as the top Central Area Shooting team. We will also retain the Sir Richard Bolt Trophy as the Top Wellington shooting team. Well Done Team A.
Further, LAC Ngaro T. was the best National Shooter with a score of 86 out of 100 and as such (for only the 2nd time) No. 41 Squadron is awarded the David Culverwell Memorial Trophy for Top NZCF Shot. Well done!
