Saturday 28th January saw No. 41 Squadron setup 2 flight simulators, a photo slideshow of past squadron events (flying, gliding, shooting, parades and camps) and display boards with posters targeting 13-15yr olds as potential new recruits for the 2012 year.
A great turnout from the cadets during the day meant there were plenty on hand to help any prospective pilots on the flight sims or answer any questions from parents or their children.
After an intial slow start the day picked up, with queues forming at times awaiting turns on the simulators, with lots of questions asked both from parents and grandparents.
The squadron would like to say a huge thank you to both North City Shopping Centre for allowing us to recruit on their site, and to Dobbins Office Furniture (Tawa) for the loan of the display boards we used on the day.
