On Saturday 26 April 2014, members of 41 Squadron supported the Wellington NZCF units with the Poppy Collection and Honour Guard at the Hurricanes versus the Reds game.
The Honour Guard as the players ran onto the field included CDTs Berryman-Assemahli and Sahayam, and LAC Walker.
CPL Haenga-Sutton (NZ flag) and LAC Douglas (Australian flag) were the flag bearers, lining up with the players during the Ode and ceremony.
Other members of the Squadron at the event were LACs Hurnan and Rose, CDTs Woodsmith, Bain and Griffin.
The Hurricanes also won.

I am the Cadet Unit Commander of No. 41 (City of Porirua) Squadron Air Training Corps.
I joined the unit in 1993 and was commissioned as an Officer in 2001. During my ATC Career I have attended cadet promotional courses, staffed courses, and completed the Officer Outdoor Leaders Course, Instructional Technique Course, Command Course and the Range Safety Officer Course.
