Over the weekend of the 12th to 14th of April, a large proportion of the Squadron shipped over to Fernside in the Wairarapa for Basic Bushcraft. On 11 March 2013 Acting Sergeant Logan Cane, Corporal Eagle, Corporal Haenga-Sutton and Leading Air Cadet Gordon assisted the Department of Internal Affairs at the Commonwealth Day ceremony by providing the Guard for the Commonwealth Flag. Afterwards they, and Pilot Officer Brown attended the Official Reception at Parliment.
